B.B.C. Builders, LLC is owned and operated by Benjamin Ewerdt, a fifth generation journeyman carpenter. Ben knew from an early age that the building trade was something he would love to spend his life doing. When he was in elementary school, he began helping his Grandpa in the wood shop, building windows and cabinets. Grandpa always told him that he was unable to use power tools until high school. By the time high school came around, Ben excelled in math and shop classes. Some would say that building was in his blood. After graduation, Benjamin completed the journeyman apprenticeship course under his Uncle Paul Ewerdt.

After more than ten years of building in the Fond du Lac area, Ben decided to move to Green Lake. He worked several years with a local contractor to get to know the area, then decided to fulfill his dream and begin his own company. Benjamin chose the name B.B.C. Builders to include his two sons, Bryce and Clayton, with hopes of someday passing the trade and business along to them.

Benjamin strives for perfection in many aspects of his life. He pays extra attention to detail and enjoys working in any architectural style home. Ben wakes up each day and looks forward to doing what he loves. People say that if you choose a career you love, you’ll never work a day in your life and Ben is living proof of that.
